2021 was a big year for doctoral student Heather Anderson! Anderson received the University of Oregon's Women in Graduate Science's Parenting Award and the Psychology Department's Graduate Student Teaching Award. These awards helped offset the costs of teaching and conducting research while parenting a young child during a pandemic. Anderson also published an R package that furthers data science in developmental psychology by expanding researchers’ ability to use the Language Environment Analysis™ system.
